Roses are Red

Violets are kinda Blue

If you split my skull open

You’ll know every single thought that passes through my head
is about you

Roses are Red

They are also very thorny

I tried to pick one and it left me very bloody

But I picked it up anyway and held it close to my chest

Watched the blood drip off my fingers or was it from by broken heart?

Roses are Red

Are Violets really Blue?

Did you really care or was everything just a game to you?

Did you really mean it when you said you loved me too?

Roses are Red

Like the color of my blood I use to write this to poem

I ripped out my heart and laid it on your hand

But you threw it on my face before the blood even dried

Roses are Red
And Violets are not Blue, just Violet

I tossed and turned in bed

cried my self to sleep every night

Roses…

I fucking hate roses!!!
